Sarah Michelle Geller - HBO Show?

Former TV star Sarah Michelle Geller may be returning to television in a new HBO show titled "The Wonderful Maladys". The show is based on the lives of three sisters who lost their parents at a young age and greatly rely on each other. The writer, Charles Randolph, has said that he wrote the script with Geller in mind.

Genie Francis to return to General Hosptial

General Hospital fans will be pleased to learn that Genie Francis (Laura) has confirmed her return to General Hospital. Unfortunately, the role will be short term, as Gene Francis states: "I would stay on, but `General Hospital' honestly doesn't seem to want that relationship with this character at the moment," said Francis. "They want little short doses during sweeps periods. It's not entirely up to me. I'm thrilled and delighted my audience stands behind me. If they didn't, you can be sure I wouldn't get to come back for these visits."

Look for Laura on August 26th. She will be returning to reunite with her daughter Lulu.

Why was Pamela Anderson on an Australian radio station talking smack about Jessica Simpson? Publicity of course! Pamela Anderson will be joining the cast of the Australia's next season of Big Brother.

During a recent interview with an Australian radio station, Pamela Anderson called Jessica Simpson a bitch and whore for wearing a shirt that read "Real Girls Eat Meat". Anderson went on to say, "Actually, I don't know if she was talking about food or men.". Anderson's reps have spoken out stating that it meant in jest and just a joke.

90210 Casting News- Doherty In, Spelling Out

Tori Spelling reportedly will not be appearing on the first season of the new version of Beverly Hills 90210 due to personal reasons. However, look for Shannon Doherty who is reportedly in talks to reprise her role. Jennie Garth will also reprise her role, playing a school advisor. Of the controversy between the two, Garth said "A lot of time has passed, and I'm a big girl. I'd have no problem with her coming on the show."

Christie Brinkley must have a damn good case. Brinkley has pursueded the court to allow reporters to sit in on divorce proceedings. What we have heard so far is that Peter Cook (the guy she's divorcing) had an affair with an 18 year old assistant. Cook, allegedly tried to get Brinkley to join him at swingers clubs and has a love for internet porn. WTF is wrong with men who marry beautiful women. You're married to Halle Barry or Christie Brinkley and you're trolling on the internet? WTF?

17 year old Jaime Lynn Spears has given birth. The baby, named Maddie Briann, was delivered early this morning in Mississippi. It is being reported that Spears sold her photos of the baby Maddie to OK Magazine for 1 million dollars.

The Office Spinoff in the Works

Variety is reporting that NBC has hired it's first cast member Aziz Ansari for it's spinoff show. Reps are stating that the show may be a "companion" to The Office and feature characters that are introduced on The Office but then moved to the new series.

Jon Voight, 24's New Bad Guy

Actor, Jon Voight has signed on for season seven of 24. Voight will play a terrorist guy (surprise, surprise, terrorists on 24?). 24 will kick off slowly with a 2 hour prequel airing November 24th and the season starting in January. (what the hell, man!) The 2 hour prequel is currently filming in South Africa and although viewers aren't expected to see him until the later half of the season, he will be in the prequel.

Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson ARE back together!

Tommy Lee has confirmed that he and ex ex ex ex Pamela Anderson are back together and living as a family with sons Brandon and Dylan. Lee told Rolling Stone:

"Pamela and the kids have moved in with me. It's awesome, man. It's definitely working. You can tell on the kids' faces - they're happy when we're together. We've only given it a try 800 times - 801, here we go."

Dr. Drew VS Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise's camp did not appreciate recent comments about the actor/Scientologist that Dr. Drew Pinsky made about him and it seems to have ignited a little Hollywood argument.

In an upcoming edition of Playboy, Dr. Drew is quoted as saying:

"A lot of people in the public eye who behave strangely have mental illness we can learn from, and much of it is based on childhood trauma, without a doubt.

"Take a guy like Tom Cruise. Why would somebody be drawn into a cultish kind of environment like Scientology? To me, that's a function of a very deep emptiness and suggests serious neglect in childhood — maybe some abuse, but mostly neglect."

In response, attorney for Cruise, Bert Fields told The NY Post Page Six:

"This unqualified television performer who is obviously just looking for notoriety is so grotesquely unprofessional as to pretend to diagnose Tom and others without ever meeting them.

"He seems to be spewing the absurdity that all Scientologists are mentally ill. The last time we heard garbage like this was from Joseph Goebbels."

Dr. Drew and friends didn't care much for that statement and a rep responded with:

"Dr. Drew meant no harm to Mr. Cruise and apologizes if his comments were hurtful,"

"Although Mr. Fields' intent is clearly to slander and discredit Dr. Drew, under no circumstances is Dr. Drew making a blanket diagnosis about Scientology nor Mr. Cruise whom he does not know,"

"Dr. Drew was simply using Mr. Cruise as an example of someone who is recognizable to help the public understand. Again, Dr. Drew meant him no harm"

Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards Fighting Again

This time the ex's are fighting over vaccinations. Sheen feels they are dangerous, Richards believes they are fine. Sheen's lawyer has sent a letter to to the children's pediatrician threatening legal action if the doc continues to treat his kids (TMZ). The safety of vaccinations has become controversial over the years with two of it's most vocal oponents being Hollywood couple Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy. It is believed that vaccinations are to blame for the rise in autism.

Courtney Cox Show Dirt Cancelled

FX drama Dirt has been axed. Bummer, I liked this show.
